Aislin Wells

I am a student at the University of Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics. I graduated as Proxime Acessit of Takapuna Grammar in 2020 with my IB Diploma, obtaining an overall score of 42/45 (putting me in the world top 4% of graduates) and earning a 7 in HL Physics, Maths, French and HL History as well a 6 in HL Chemistry and English. I’ve tutored IB Physics, Chemistry and NCEA/IB maths for over two years, and I’m really passionate about breaking down concepts and helping each student find their individual learning style so they succeed to the highest possible level. At university, I've been privileged to win both the Gillies Scholarship and the Department of Physics scholarship for my studies, and have held a GPA above 8 for the duration of my time studying. I really enjoy what I do, and I strive to create a fun, engaging and stress-free environment during my lessons. When I’m not tutoring or studying, I enjoy reading, writing, and eating lots of chocolate!
