Leo Lin

Kia ora. My name is Leo and I am a student at the University of Auckland. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelors of Science conjoint and majoring in Biological Sciences and Media, Film and Television. I studied the IB diploma programme in my senior years at high school and earned a 7 in Biology, as well as a 6 in English A and Spanish B. I have experience with both the NCEA and IB curriculums and am happy to teach either. I am a bilingual tutor (English and Mandarin) and have a very adaptive and open tutoring style, striving to best fit your needs and helping you make sure that you understand the content you’re learning. I’m always happy to adjust and receive feedback on how to help you better learn and understand the content, for you to best succeed in your studies. Throughout my life, I’ve always had an urge to help others, from assisting classmates in school, through leadership roles like the Peer Service Team in high school, and also teaching dance in and outside of school. I intend to use these experiences to better help me in my tutoring as well. I love to help others to succeed in their goals and I always make sure to maintain an engaging, stress-free environment during my lessons. Outside of my studies, I enjoy dancing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
